NATURALISM

Worldview is defined by reference to reality.   It is the belief only the natural realm exists ie material objects. (Sometimes naturalism is referred to as "materialism" or "materialistic naturalism".)

The physical universe is all there is and it is governed by the laws of nature.   Naturalists believe God may or may not exist.   If He does exist,  He is not involved with the universe.

There is no spritual aspect to human nature.   Man is the result of a purposeless and natural process that did not have him in mind.   He was not planned.

Choices are directed by stimulus response for survival rather than values and morals.   Their truth is life ends at the time of death and the body becomes organic matter.   Naturalists do not believe in the Hereafter.
