Safety and Your Child
When it comes to your child, you want the safest care avaliable. Many parents have concerns when deciding when and if to immunize their children. If you have concerns, talk to your health care provider. Remember that immunizations can usually still be given during a mild cold and while medications are being taken. You may wish to discuss possible side effects pf immunziations with your family doctor.
There is some concern that the MMR vaccine may cause some children to develop autism. There is much speculation surrounding the correlation between immunizations and autism. If you have concerns around autism and immunizations, bring this matter up with your health care provider, though you may wish to familiarize yourself with various resources regarding this subject.
